long time no post alr...just too busy.

first things first, Happy Birhtday Gina!! (don't say i don't know Global Trash Day cum Paramecium Day :P)

second things second, ligament tear. sounds like nth much, but it is one horriible thing that happened at the most horrible time. i've lost enough stamina for 2.4km and i dont know how long more i have to. i think i'll fail when i start running. havent run for like a month. Oh no.

third things third, i've got alot to say about PTM (as fedback frm aunties who pass by).
1) the font of the "directory" etc should be bigger. people have "lao hua yan" they can't see the ant like words.
2) there should either be more teachers around to answer enquiries or an Info counter. me, as a teacher's assistant, and seated at the first table the parents will see when they entr the hall, my partner and i were so busy at times answering and explaining things to frustrated parents, we lost track of time and that worsened the 'condition"- our teacher tended to exceed the time limit- and when we finished our " business", "oh no!"and we wave the red paper furiously. somehow the teacher makes it a must to tell every parents their child's marks etc etc. we were sooo fortunate- only a pair of parents made sure they kept to the time limit and we were soooo grateful. record "chat" time: 13mins 40++secs. time limit: 6 mins
3) there should be a clear sign that parents from session 2 were not allowed to enter the hall yet when session 1's PTM was still going on. some kiasu aunties came in wanting to get a queue no. fast and in the end my partner and i spent like 10-15 mins explaining. worse, they only understood simple english so we had to translate the whole system of PTM into chinese for them. imagine how long the teacher could have talked already.
4) i really think we students have no life. quite a number of parents came asking us who are the teachers of blah blah class. I can infer from this situation that students and their parents have little conversations. their parents don't even know a single teacher?? it's a bit too ridiculous to believe. like as if parents are just people who live with you, end of story. really no life eh. so sad
